What do I get when I buy a book?
Two files: a PDF laid out like a printed book (A5 pages, or square pages for the picture book) and an EPUB that reflows to fit your screen. Sets include both files for every book in the set.
Which devices can I read on?
Any phone, tablet, e-reader or computer.
- iPhone and iPad: open the EPUB in Apple Books.
- Android: Google Play Books or any EPUB reader.
- Kindle: send the EPUB with Amazon's free Send to Kindle service.
- Kobo and other e-readers: copy the EPUB over USB.
- Laptop or printing: use the PDF.
Is there DRM? Can I print it?
No DRM. You can read the files on all your own devices and print pages for personal use, such as the season planner in The Five-Gallon Garden or the scam-spotting card. Please don't share the files publicly or resell them.
Can I read a sample first?
Yes. Every book page has a Free sample button. It downloads a PDF of the opening pages, with no email required.
I bought a book but can't find the download.
Check the email address you used at checkout, including the spam or promotions folder. If it's not there, email hello@technitea.com with the address you used and the title you bought, and we'll resend it.
Can I get a refund?
See our refund policy. If a file is damaged or won't open, we'll fix it or refund you.
How are the books written and illustrated?
Each book is planned, written and checked by the Technitea editorial team. Facts are checked against the public sources listed at the back, code and formulas are tested, and illustrations are created with AI image tools under art direction. Every book states this on its copyright page.
Are prices in U.S. dollars? Do you charge tax?
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live is calculated at checkout before you pay.
I found a mistake in a book.
